Since then, he’s grown an Instagram following of more than 100,000 people for his brand (@Brainzpower), more than 86,000 followers for his personal account (@AndrewtheKoz), and he plans on expanding through major distributors when he graduates college in the spring.

I couldn’t imagine doing something like this to this magnitude while being in college. Shows that you are capable of more than you think, very motivating.

  My biggest takeaway from this interview was that Andrew’s a great example of an entrepreneur who at a very (comparatively) young age, realized that you can’t sit around waiting for shit to happen—and that asking for permission will never get you to where you want to be.
  
  When I started my first business in college, it was like watching a train wreck in slow motion compared to the action Andrew took to get his product made quickly & how he took distribution into his own hands using Instagram. This interview is like a free master-class in how to start a business in college. Glad you enjoyed, Alexander!

  Alex, you’re exactly right. I truly think we are capable of anything we set our mind to. The problem though is that kids are told from an early age that you need to get a job and work for someone and even if you want to be an entrepreneur they say you need to work for someone to get “experience” but I always question everything with “why”. And the problem is there is no answer to most of these ways of thinking. Anyone at any age is capable of growing a successful business at this point in time. We just need to fight through all of the shit we are told growing up and think logically and without keeping others opinions in mind. Thanks for watching! 🙏

Wow got here from Andrew’s Instagram, and gained so much from the interview. I had no idea that was how he started. I loved how specific he was with the product and the marketing approach, it so hard to stay focused with an idea and also just to create one that specific is tough for me. Does anyone have any resources for the creation part of entrepreneurship, books, resources, channels, anything of that nature. I want to start but it hard to get an idea like that that I feel would certainly work.

  Timothy, first off thank you so much for following me and checking this interview out, it means a lot to me. Second, I really feel like a separate notepad just for brainstorming and ideas is your answer. I did this, I kept this notepad with me at all time even while I was sleeping. You never know when a good idea pops into your head, I would wake up sometimes in the middle of the night and write an idea down and then go back to sleep. Go through everyday life with a entrepreneurial lens on everything and eventually you’ll see something missing in the market and there your innovation or product will be born. It will take some time, it will be a 24/7 thought process, but you have to take time to create something special. I went through 2-3 months of writing ideas down all day and researching.
